Samantha Boragine, age 10, is thrilled to be in the children’s ensemble for her first appearance with the Family Performing Arts Center. Most recently this holiday season she played the roles of Chadwick and a Macy’s elf in Elf Jr. A DramaFun! 2016 production. Samantha has been acting on stage since the tender age of four, past credits include a Who! in Seussical Jr., a lost boy in Peter Pan Jr., a child in My Son Pinocchio Jr., a dulocian in Shrek Jr. a seagull, a mermaid and a messenger in The Little Mermaid, and as a wolf in The Ten Angry Pigs. She’s had a variety of roles in other shows as well, including parts in 15 Reasons Not To Be In A Play, The Four Little Pigs, A Dopey Fairy Tale, and several original productions.
Samantha is happiest when singing and dancing and keeps herself busy with theater during vacation and summer camps sponsored by DramaFun! in Sandwich, MA, Applause Academy in Taunton, Arts for Youth in Bridgewater, Star Creations theater in Plymouth, and the Capachione School of Performing Arts in East Bridgewater. Samantha “appreciates having the opportunity to have this experience and to become better at acting.”
